How does it work? (The Science)
Great work on doing your due diligence before buying our product! At WhiterShine, we are people of science, not marketing.
Our gel has been clinically proven to be more effective than the main active ingredients in the gel that HiSmile uses. A detailed blog post breaking this down will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
Simply, our gel will remove most stains with a gentle action that whitens your teeth. As our Teeth Whitening Gel is broken down, oxygen acts upon the stained organic deposits, which oxidises them into a white colour. This process brings both the intrinsic and extrinsic parts of the tooth closer to its natural pearly white.
Who should not use the product?
We do not recommend you use our product if you are under the age of 13 or have braces.
If you are pregnant, please consult your ob-gyn prior to using our product.

Some key ingredients are withheld to protect our advanced whitening formula being stolen by competitors.
Is it safe?
Yes. When using a genuine professional teeth whitening product such as WhiterShine as recommended, the teeth whitening process is 100% safe and will not damage your tooth enamel or gums.
How long do I use it for?
We recommend a protocol of once a day for seven days followed by once every two to four weeks. The whitening process is a gradual process and most users start seeing results from the second application onward.
How do you use your products?
All products come with easy to understand instructions on how to use them to get the best results.
Should I brush my teeth before whitening?
We recommend brushing & flossing your teeth before applying, and simply rinsing & wiping your teeth afterwards.
Will this whiten stains caused by smoking, drinking coffee, wine, etc?
Yes. Our products are specifically designed for people who experience tooth discolouration due to lifestyle habits such as smoking, drinking coffee, wine, tea, and consuming other foods and liquids that cause discolouration. With each application we recommend you do not do either of these for at least 12 hours after each treatment. Whitening after your last meal and beverage of the day will help with this.
Which Product do you recommend?
While we recommend all of our products as you are guaranteed to get results with all of them, we recommend the Value Pack as it is the best value for money and comes with free express shipping (if you are located in Australia).
How long will results last?
It will depend on your lifestyle choices. If you are a smoker or drink a lot of coffee and red wine, your teeth will re-stain. To prevent this we recommend one application every 2-4 weeks, after you have achieved your desired shade of white.
How much gel do I use per application?
We recommend each individual tray application (upper or lower arch) has approximately 1/4 cc of WhiterShine Teeth Whitening Gel on it. Completing each tray using 1/4 cc is accomplished by 3 things: experience of using the whitening process, dabbing just a small amount of gel in the frontal portion of each tooth exposed when smiling only (no need to whiten unexposed teeth), and most importantly, trimming the customizable trays at the gingival line (tooth/gum line). If you take small scissors and trim the trays on the gingival line, you do not have a waste factor of gel and do not expose the soft tissue to the process.
